Katrina was born in Hong Kong on 16 July 1983. Her father, Mohammed Kaif is a British Businessman and her mother, Suzanne Turquotte is a social worker and a lawyer. She has 7 siblings; six sisters and one brother. Her parents got divorced when she was a child and it was her mother who raised them.

In her life, she moves to different culture and countries and gathers notion about these countries, from Hong Kong her family moved to China. From China, They moved to Japan, then to France when she was 8 years old. They also lived in Switzerland, Poland, Germany, and Belgium for the short time, finally, her family moved to Hawaii.

Career 

Katrina Kaif started her modeling career after winning a beauty contest in Hawai and later got a chance to walk on the ramp of India Fashion Week from where she rose to fame as a model. She has also played in the English-Hindi movie, “Boom” along with Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, and other stars but the movie underperformed at the box-office. 

In 2004, she appeared in Telugu movie, “Malliswari” which became successful at the box office and later played “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya” with Salman Khan.
